Kintyre Recycling was formed in September 2006 to carry on the work of Campbeltown Waste Watchers, which originated in 1997. We are a registered Charity and company limited by guarantee, with two main criteria; to provide waste management services and access recycling facilities to a disadvantaged area in Argyll +Bute and by operating as a social firm, to provide employment of persons with special needs and learning difficulties.Kintyre Recycling has charitable objectives designed to benefit both the people of Kintyre and the environment in relation to the protection of the natural environment, relieving poverty and providing skills development opportunities.
